A Gift From The Goddess

Aria was the Winter Mist pack’s Luna, and she was famous for how well she planned wars.

Her help was very important in making her pack the strongest in the whole country. Everything in her life should be just right. It wasn’t, though.

Aria’s life was anything but successful, though. They were controlling her and her Alpha mate, and she had no control over them.

A partner who never loved her. She can either run away or die trying to keep her Luna position as she sees their relationship grow. But this isn’t the story of how Aria changes his heart so that he loves her.

No, this is how Aria died. How about if she had the chance to go back in time and try again? Would she take it? …Or is she doomed to make the same mistakes over and over? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ “…And if I refuse?” I asked with reluctance. “Then you will remain in the Abyss, forever reliving your earthly memories.”

My mind went back to the images that had been torturing me by showing me my death over and over. Now I knew she had to have shown me that on purpose so I could see what my refusal would look like.

“Then I don’t want to be Luna again… and I don’t want to be Aleric’s mate,” I told her. It surprised me that I was agreeing to something with a Goddess. One thing, though, I couldn’t shake: something didn’t seem right. “That is the fate I have chosen for you.”

I said, “Then I don’t accept.” “I believe you are hiding something from me. a reason why you really need me to go back.” She didn’t say anything, and her silver eyes looked at me warily. I thought her silence meant she agreed with me and said, “So I’m right.”
